About our Founder

Natasia Kissinger founded Choose the Child in 2002. She and her husband, Ricky, are blessed with six beautiful children - five daughters and one son, from ages 9 -24.

As a former teacher, she is dedicated to educating children on the value of life and how important it is to love & respect others – no matter age, ethnicity, size, beliefs, etc.  She also believes that children need to know that they are created in the image and likeness of God and CAN make a difference, even with the smallest of actions. By teaching our children to pray for, respect and support those in need, we raise children that stand for what they believe in and, most importantly, come to know that God will provide.

Natasia enjoys creating activities and lessons that encourage schools and families to celebrate LIFE and actively be the voice for all of  the voiceless. Her goal is to inform families, students and the community on the importance of building a "Culture of Life" and make them aware of small things they can do to support the Culture of Life movement.

Natasia is an Honorary Member of the Advisory Board for the ACCESS Pregnancy Center of Catholic Charities in New Orleans, and was a member of the Advisory Board for New Orleans Right to Life. She is currently the Moderator for the Culture of Life Club at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and a certified Theology of the Body Instructor.
