Introduction:
You are here today because your mom was pro-life. She loved you so much before she even knew you. We are now going to pray for all of the unborn babies so that their moms make the same choice.
Opening Prayer:
Dear God, we ask you to bless our families, our friends, and anything that we would like to pray for today. We ask you to bless the unborn babies or any babies in danger. We pray that people will stop harming innocent children. God created all life, we should not harm God’s life. Thank you, God, for hearing our prayer. Amen.
First Reading: (Isaiah 49:1-5)
Listen to me, O coastlands, and give attention, you people from afar.
The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.
He made my mouth like a sharp sword;
in the shadow of his hand, he hid me;
he made me a polished arrow;
In his quiver, he hid me away.
And he said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”
But I said, “I have labored in vain;
I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity;
yet surely my right is with the Lord,
And my recompense with my God.”And now the Lord says,
he who formed me from the womb to be his servant,
to bring Jacob back to him;
and that Israel might be gathered to him-

If you can’t keep me, Mamma,
It’s all right, I’ll understand,
But please let someone else reach out
To take my tiny hand.
Remember that when you were just
As small and frail as I,
Your mother didn’t make the choice to have her baby die.
You had the choice to live,
So, please let me have my chance, too.
I can’t escape, I can’t cry out…
My life depends on you!
Reflection:
How can I spread the Pro-Life Movement in my own community? What can I do in my own life to help stop abortion?
Reflection Prayer:
Dear St. Gianna Beretta Molla,
We ask you to bless over the people who are scared and pregnant and do not know what to do. We ask you to help them as they make the right decision. They need your prayers. We ask you to bless over the babies who have been aborted. We ask that you bless over the people doing this and that they realize what they are doing is wrong. We ask that one day, hopefully soon, this becomes illegal again. In the Name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit...Amen

For the abortion doctors, that they will change their ways.

Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!
